New Intelect® Vet Exclusively Offered by Ferno Veterinary Systems
Wilmington, Ohio (January 2006) -- The new Intelect® Vet ñ an electrotherapy system for equine and canine patients ñ is now exclusively being offered by Ferno Veterinary Systems. IntelectÆ Vet is the first modular veterinarian therapy system that consolidates four therapeutic modalities in one accessible system.

Intelect Vet allows clinicians to utilize electrotherapy, ultrasound, combination and/or laser for both canines and equines. This clinical tool helps dramatically advance a patient to a quick and desired outcome. Intelect Vet systems have ergonomically designed applicators for ease of use. A dual-frequency Ultrasound is fully functional at 1 and 3.3 MHz and works in pulsed or continuous duty cycles.

Intelect Vet features built-in protocols for horses and dogs developed by the leaders in canine and equine therapy. It also features an on-board Patient Data Management (PDM) system in which all patient information is stored on individualized Patient Data Cards and is automatically updated. Patient Data Cards allow clinicians to capture and record accurate patient information through modality records, electrode placement and treatment area diagrams.

Intelect Vet also features several options for enhanced electrotherapy usage:
